YouTube Launches Music Streaming Services In India YouTube Music, YouTube Premium & We're Excited!
Music battle has got little more interesting in India. YouTube – the king of video streaming recently joined the music streaming market to give its users YouTube Music app and YouTube Music Premium.
Since the launch has been done soon after the launch of Spotify – a music giant in India indicates that the company wants to compete directly with pre-launched music streaming space. To make it more attractive, YouTube Music is offering an ad-free YouTube experience, including exclusive movies and TV shows.
With such mind-boggling ad-free plans, YouTube Music definitely going to shake the music market on great levels and can be seen as a tough competitor to other services such as Apple, Wynk, Gaana, etc. The streaming app is offering an array of services such as official songs, thousands of playlists, albums, and artists, and YouTube’s tremendous catalogue of remixes, covers, live performances, and music videos.
“While fans can enjoy the new ad-supported version of YouTube Music for free, we’re also launching YouTube Music Premium, a paid membership that allows you to play a YouTube music video in the background,” YouTube announced.
The Premium pack will be available for Rs 129/month, and will also include membership to YouTube Music Premium. The service will offer an ad-free experience with background play and offline downloads for millions of videos on YouTube, including access to all YouTube Originals, including ‘Cobra Kai’, ‘BTS: Burn The Stage’.
