Taapsee Pannu Bashes 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh' Team For Being Unprofessional.

Taapsee Pannu Bashes 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh' Team For Being Unprofessional.

February started with an unexpected disclosing of a news that wasn’t really expected from the upcoming film, ‘Pati, patni aur woh' team. Actor taapsee Pannu recently shared her discontentment for being replaced from the film “unceremoniously”. When asked about the clarity to this statement, Chopra and co-producer claimed that they had never sealed the deal with any actor and had just considered Pannu for the role among others.

Later in time, during the official movie announcement of the film they came up with the star cast comprising Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandya as the lead actors. Although, Ananya has not been seen on the big screen yet but the rumours have been confirmed that the girl would be giving out her debut performance in ‘Student Of The Year 2’ that’ll be releasing later this year.

“The struggle doesn’t really end. And I signed up for it. I knew it when I started out,” Taapsee expressed as she’d received a handful lack of professionalism even after she has bagged a position in the Bollywood industry.

Taapsee was asked if she feels this to be happening because she is an outsider, she expressed, “Yes. Mostly because of that. And it will stay like that. This is the rule of the game and I can’t be cribbing about it every day. Today I have the power to call it out and I did. Thankfully, I am in a position where I have enough work. If I would have been in a position where I didn’t have enough work, they would have said I am doing it to get attention. That I am making noise.”

Taapsee further added that this disclosing isn’t done to defame any perticular being but just wanted to speak up against the bias and unprofessional attitude which directly and indirectly exploits actors.

She claimed, “One film out of my career is not going to make me lose a National Award. The problem wasn’t that. The problem was unprofessionalism which I wanted to call out. I didn’t want to target a particular person or a group of people.”

She kept going and added, “That wasn’t the idea. Otherwise, I would have responded to them by publishing the texts that would prove that I was asked to come at (specific) date and block dates. I didn’t want to go to that level. There is no point getting bitter or making it ugly because my idea was to call out this practice which is wrong and should not happen to any other actor.”

Kudos to the girl to come out and speak up to show the dark side of industry as well. Having said that, if that is the truth, let’s just hope this ultra-bias behaviour towards outsiders comes to an end once and for all.
