2018 FIFA Men World Cup in Russia was as always filled with stunning performance and heart-breaking knockouts. What got us more, were the exits of great teams like Argentina, Portugal, Brazil and Germany, who we thought will set up the title contention and the greatest match on the planet.

But it turned out to be the season of smaller teams who played their hearts out and at last, we saw Croatia challenging France for the title. France thumped Croatia in a thrilling 4-2 match.

While men’s world cup has ended and we must wait for 4 years for the next one, we don’t have to wait long for the FIFA World Cup. Confused? We’re talking about FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019!

Yep, that’s right, France will be hosting the eight women’s football world cup with 24 teams from all around the world taking part in it. So far, 20 teams have qualified and the remaining teams will be final by 1st December.

The world cup will begin on 7th June 2019 with the host nation, France taking on the second team in Group A. The knockout stages will start 22nd June with semi-finals taking place on 2nd and 3rd July and match for the 3rd spot on 6th July. The final match of FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 will take place on 7th July at Stade de Lyon, Lyon.
